I have always told myself that you cannot help anyone until you help yourself and to me self care is just as important as caring for others. After feeling a little run down i decided to have a little pamper evening and try this new clay mask that I’ve had stored away for a week or two!
I bought the mask from Asda and it was on a rollback for £8 which was an absolute bargain, because i only needed a tiny bit to cover my face and the pot is quite deep so its going to last me quite some time!
I started on my cheeks and slowly spread the mask over my nose, above my lips and onto my forehead, making sure to keep it even but trying to keep the layer thin but also just putting the right amount on so that there wasn’t too much on my face so that it wouldn’t dry as it suggests to only keep the mask on for 5 – 10 minutes! As soon as i started applying the mask to my face i could instantly feel the difference! It was nice and cool on my face and once it was all on i could feel it drying as my face got tighter!
My face got so tight i couldn’t move my lips or anything and i couldn’t talk! It felt like botox gone wrong! This is the first mask that has felt so tight on my face but that has also sank deep into my pores! I could instantly see my open pores and it sinking into them working its magic which i loved! I have really oily skin and this just worked wonders, especially on my T-zone!
I kept the mask on for 15 minutes, a little longer than recommended but my skin needed it it was so dry and spotty i think an extra 5 minutes will have done it the world of good! When washing it off i just used hot water and a hand towel to gently wipe it off. It came off really easy, the heat from the water in a sense ‘melted’ the mask so it simply wiped off my face like soap! As i was taking it off my skin felt so nice and clean and it feels the best it has felt in a long time!
It recommends to use the mask 2- 3 times a week and i am definitely going to stick to this as i have been breaking out so much recently so i want to take back control of my skin and get my natural glow back!
I would 100% recommend this product to anyone, it is affordable, long lasting and works wonders on your skin! I can’t wait to start looking after myself a little more and I’m going to make my pamper evenings a weekly thing!
If you guys can want to try it this out, then you can buy it here from Superdrug which is actually cheaper than Asda at £6!! I know where i’ll be going when i run out!! There is also other reviews on the Superdrug page for the face mask so you can read what others loved about it too if you’re still undecided!
Let me know if you give this a go and if it worked wonders for your skin too!
